About MK Designed

At mkdesigned we believe in enhancing your lifestyle through beautifully designed spaces.

We believe that all design should respond to the way we live and how we interact within a space. Creating seamless connections between indoor and outdoor spaces; consciously separating public and private areas and accessing natural light and ventilation are all key elements in our design ethos with a central aim to create not only aesthetically pleasing homes but also functional, contented and sustainable.

We strive to build honest and trustworthy relationships with our clients to help guide them through the entire design process. We are involved as little or as much as our clients seem necessary to achieve their desired outcome. From initial sketch designs through to obtaining approvals, and even choosing products and builders. We provide for your needs to make the processes as stress free as possible.

Your home is the biggest reflection of who you are. It should reflect the way you live, the way your entertain friends and family and how you laze around on a summers Sunday morning (for me – its coffee in hand, watching the kids play in the northerly orientated courtyard, whilst still in my pajamas).

“The design of your home should be part of your self-definition - the reason why we do things, and the way we do things. Design should incite moods, direct spaces, and be pleasing to the eye.”
